One Medano is a new, modern condo building located within walking distance of Medano Beach, one of the most popular swimming beaches in Cabo San Lucas. It is also located within walking distance of the Marina, a plethora of delicious restaurants and Puerto Paraiso Mall, and the downtown nightlife.
Condo 11C is the condo that we stayed in. It has a partial view to the beach and a large outdoor porch for dining or lounging. The condo has two bedrooms; one towards the front of the condo without windows to the outside, which makes for a dark, cozy sleep! The master bedroom is located next to the kitchen and living room and has a sliding window that opens up to the living room with a view of the outside. The condo is provided with all linens, including beach towels. The kitchen is equipped with a few necessities for cooking or eating in.
The building has a security guard, a door code and a special key to get up the elevator. It feels very safe and couldn’t be in a better location! There is a parking garage underneath the condo building, a small pool and a grill station behind the building on the beach side.
After a wonderful time in Cabo San Lucas, I now know why it is becoming more and more popular each year. Whether you are staying in a 10 bedroom cliffside villa, or a two bedroom beachside condo, there is fun to be had by all and plenty to keep you entertained!
Our trip began in the Marina in Cabo San Lucas where we stayed for a few nights. The Marina is full of over-the-top fishing boats, delicious open-air restaurants and a variety of souvenir shops. Day or night, there is always something going on at Medano. You can relax and get some sun or check out the beach bars for some good entertainment!
The first two days, I toured villas with two of the property management companies that we work with. We saw some of the most gorgeous villas with the most beautiful views! Two of my absolute favorites were Casa Bella and Villa Costa (coming soon!). Casa Bella is located just down the road from downtown in a quiet neighborhood. There is a beach down below within walking distance and enough palm trees to make the villa feel very private.
One of my other favorites was Villa Costa. With a view of the ocean and the golf course, I could relax in the pool all day! This villa is great for couples or families. The rooms are all separated and spread apart for plenty of privacy.
On day two of villa tours, we stopped at the BEST taco joint in Cabo. It was called Asi and Asado and it was just amazing. It’s an open-air restaurant on the side of the road heading out of Downtown. By this point, we had eaten tacos for every meal and these were the best ones yet!
For those of you who enjoy nightlife, clubs and dancing, Cabo has just what you are looking for! We ventured into Squid Roe and Cabo Wabo to see what they were all about. Cabo Wabo is a variety of all age groups and has live music. Squid Roe is a more intense club with a lot of dancing and techno/rap music. Both of them were a lot of fun and I would recommend at least popping your head in to see what they are all about!
One of the best parts of the trip was the sailing trip that I had arranged for us! The charter took us to do some snorkeling and see Lover’s Beach, Divorce Beach and the famous arch. The crew was wonderful and even came snorkeling with us to show us where the best sports were!
The last day of our trip, I had some time to check out some of the local attractions and even had a chance to visit Cabo Real Golf Course. This course is amazing! The views are beautiful and the course is pretty challenging.
All in all, everything about the trip was wonderful and Cabo San Lucas is a place I would highly suggest visiting. Whether you want to just relax at your villa pool, enjoy the beach, take a sailing trip to the famous arch or enjoy several amazing golf courses, there is something to do for everyone!
