Director of Hawaiian Islands

I truly love my career! Besides being able to work with travelers interested in enjoying the Hawaiian Islands, I’m able to experience staying in some of these incredible homes which allows me to assist my clients more proficiently.

This past trip to Oahu was wonderful. I arrived on Oct. 31st  (Halloween), which was ideal because Halloween is celebrated by young and old in Hawaii and many dress up, making a fun-filled occasion for visitors and residents!

During my stay on Oahu I was fortunate enough to stay at the Plantation Paradise aka The Obama’s Winter Home, located directly on Kailua Beach! This outstanding Estate is perfect for families seeking a luxurious 5 bedroom beachfront property. This private and very elegant estate is located at the northern end of Kailua beach. It comes fully equipped with a spectacular gym, luxurious lagoon-style pool, and a tranquil waterfall next to a large hot tub. With palm trees swaying in the lush, tropical garden setting, it’s the ideal Estate for an exceptional vacation!

The house will sleep up to 9 comfortably. The ocean views from the home are incredible! Even though you’re unable to access the water directly in front of the property, there is an easily accessible walking path that leads to a sandy cove. Not only is this home, the décor, and views spectacular, there are also turtles in the ocean out front of the house (thus the name), which is a delightful sight for young and old!

There are lots of great cafes and restaurants to choose from while staying in Kailua! One of my personal favorites is Buzz’s, located directly across the street from Kailua Beach Park. If you like artichokes, I highly recommend the Artichoke Surprise! Just thinking of the dish makes my mouth water! For those who enjoy fresh fish, the Ahi is truly the best and supplied fresh daily from the local fishermen.

I highly recommend Kailua as the vacation destination on Oahu! You’re away from the chaos of Waikiki, you’re only about 30 minutes by car from the airport, you’ll have miles of white sand at Kailua Beach and neighboring Lanikai Beach to enjoy, there’s more than ample nearby shopping and dining, and you’ll love strolling through Kailua town.
